Healing Through Art This Memorial Day

Healing Through Art This Memorial Day

Hey Friend,

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, I want to recognize those of our community members who willingly and regularly face trauma, particularly our veterans and service members. Art has proven to be a powerful tool in healing trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (“PTSD”) for service members and families. The Creative Forces initiative by the US military underscores this, providing service members with therapeutic art programs that foster recovery and resilience.

While we enjoy this long weekend and its holiday festivities, let’s take a moment to appreciate that Memorial Day is meant to be a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by our military community. Regardless of our views on the military, this holiday offers an opportunity to honor the people who have given their lives in service, as well as the friends and families who support them. Friends and families endure the ultimate sacrifice of having their loved ones serve, often facing long separations and the ever-present worry for their safety.

Having close connections to the military, I have witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by service members and their families. Their commitment and bravery are unparalleled, and their sacrifices enable the freedoms we often take for granted.

In recognition of these heroes, this Memorial Day, we're offering a 15% discount on all prints, stationery, and totes. Additionally, we're heavily discounting our Mini Originals when you purchase more than one through the end of May. This is a small token of our appreciation for the immense sacrifices made by our military community.

If you are a veteran, spouse, or active-duty service member, please reach out to me directly. We have something special prepared just for you. Your courage and dedication deserve not only our gratitude but our tangible support as well.

This Memorial Day, let us remember and honor our fallen heroes and express our heartfelt thanks to those who continue to serve and their families. Through art, community, and appreciation, we can contribute to the healing and acknowledgment they so richly deserve.
