About the artist...
"My work is rooted in a lifetime spent outdoors, first as a kid climbing mountains in Colorado, then as a field ecologist working in Alaska, New Zealand, and East Africa. Those years of fieldwork completely shaped how I see the natural world and what I choose to paint.
I translate that time in the wild onto the page, using rich watercolor layers and vibrant color to capture landscapes as I actually experienced them, alive, layered, full of things worth noticing if you slow down. Hidden within many pieces are wildlife elements waiting to be discovered, a small reward for looking closely. It is expressive, eco-conscious art made for anyone who feels most like themselves outdoors."
Jenny's work has been featured by NPR, Outside Magazine, USA Today, the Denver Post, and POLITICO. Ten percent of every sale is donated directly to wildlife conservation, and her originals have found homes with collectors across all fifty states and internationally.
